When I first started going to Mel's in the summer of 2018, some of the regulars looked at me skeptical. I would get off work dressed business casual so I stuck out like a soar thumb. I swore they thought I was undercover because a lot of shady shit goes down at that bar.
I was taking a piss one evening at a happy hour dinner at Creekside in Santa Barbara and the chorus just came to me. Took a couple takes to dial in the lyrics but eventually it all came together.
